Dr. Angela M. Schuck, D.D.S. Mankato area dentist
Born in Mankato and raised in Lake Crystal, MN, Angie had always wanted to become a dentist. "I spent a lot of time in the dental chair as a youngster and experienced how it can impact a person's life." Inheriting a family trait of never developing lateral incisors (second teeth from the front on each side), Angie had gone through braces and bridges by the time she was 15 years old. "I was so grateful for the dentistry I received and I wanted to help other people experience great dentistry as well," she says with a smile.
Dr. Schuck graduated from Minnesota State University - Mankato with a degree in biochemistry. She earned her dental degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in Minneapolis, MN. Dr. Schuck studied as an international dental exchange student at the University of Copenhagen School of Dentistry in Denmark. This is the area where dental implants were first invented and used as an alternative to bridges and dentures in the replacement of missing teeth.
Dr. Schuck started North Mankato Family Dentistry in 1998 after associating in two other local dental clinics. Her successful dental practice caught the eye of a well known dentist / speaker / editor and she was featured on the front cover of the popular, international dental magazine called Dental Economics. With the birth of her first child in the year 2000, her husband joined her growing dental practice and they became a fantastic wife / husband dental team. Dr. Schuck has served on the Minnesota Dental Association's New Dentist Committee as well as volunteering at Minnesota State University - Mankato's Hygiene and Dental Assistant programs and the Open Door Clinic.
Dr. Schuck received her Oral Conscious Sedation permit from the Minnesota Board of Dentistry after intensive training at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry's Oral Surgery Department. She has traveled with her staff to cities like Minneapolis, Orlando, and Philadelphia to train with the top sedation dentists in the world through the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS). Dr. Schuck is currently a presenter / speaker for the Colgate Continuing Education Lecture Series discussing topics such as diabetes, gingivitis, and peridontal disease with dental teams throughout Southern Minnesota.
Dr. Schuck enjoys nurturing trusting relationships with her patients, training for triathlons, and riding Appaloosa horses. She loves being a mother and spending family time with her husband, Keith, her daughters, Olivia Jane and Katelin Marlena, and her son, Miles Mark.
Dr. Keith P. Flack, D.D.S. Mankato area dentist
Born and raised in Oshkosh, WI, Keith received both his biological sciences and dental degrees from the University of Minnesota. "Although we didn't have a lot of money growing up, my parents always took me to the dentist for regular checkups." Keith has never had a cavity in his life and attributes that to routine preventive care. "I believe that the most effective dentistry is preventive care. When you do have dental needs, I am proud to be delivering the best of what dentistry has to offer."
Dr. Flack completed dental school with high honors and became the first international dental exchange student with the University of Nijmegen in the Netherlands (Holland). Following his return from Europe, Dr. Flack completed a General Practice Residency at Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) Level 1 Trauma Hospital, in Minneapolis, MN. Unique trauma and hospital dentistry knowledge and experience was gained as he worked side by side with oral surgeons, physicians, and medical / dental specialists.
Dr. Flack was named Minnesota's New Dentist of the Year for 2002 for his leadership involvement in the Minnesota Dental Association (MDA), the dental profession, his community, and his dental practice. Recently past chair of the MDA's New Dentist Committee, he now continues to serve on the MDA's Education Committee as well as volunteering at Minnesota State University - Mankato's Hygiene and Dental Assistant programs and the Open Door Clinic.

Dr. Flack enjoys establishing lasting relationships with his patients, travelling around the world to dental conventions / seminars, and constantly modernizing their dental facility and services. He loves scuba diving, digital photography, and spending quality time with his wife, Angie, his daughters, Olivia Jane and Katelin Marlena, and his son, Miles Mark.
